As an artist, it is vital that I understand my 'why'; and consider it equally important to share that vision with my clients.

First and foremost, I consider my job a true privilege.

Tattooing is an art-form that has been around for centuries, laden in culture, stories, significance (and sometimes controversy) that both extends and precedes myself; to be a part of such history leaves me humbled. More so, the privilege stems from the opportunity to hear, and be a part of other people's stories in such a deeply unique way. It is no secret that people are the true love of my life, and such a passion has given tattooing far more meaning than I could ever have imagined.

To create for a living is an honour, but to do so in a way that is collaborative, challenging, often misunderstood and profound, pushes me to consciously create a space where I share this feeling with anyone who wishes to join. I will always strive to make your tattoo experience as special and important for you as it feels for me, and eagerly look forward to hearing how you found yourself in my chair.

EVERYONE HAS A STORY.

NO MATTER WHAT AREA OF LIFE I'VE FOUND MYSELF IN, MY TRUE PASSION HAS ALWAYS REMAINED AT THE CORE OF WHAT I DO; THAT PASSION BEING PEOPLE.

I'M A FIRM BELIEVER THAT EVERY SINGLE PERSON HAS A STORY; ONE THAT IS EVER EVOLVING AND ENTIRELY UNIQUE TO YOUR EXPERIENCE. AND WHILE THOSE STORIES VARY EXPONENTIALLY, THEIR DIFFERENCES SPARK CURIOSITY WHERE COMMON GROUND FACILITATES CONNECTION, AND IT IS MY BELIEF THAT THIS CONNECTION IS THE SINGLE MOST PRECIOUS THING WE HAVE.

MY JOB IS TRULY UNLIKE ANY OTHER, AND WHILE I AM DEEPLY DRIVEN BY GROWING AS AN ARTIST, FOR ME, THIS PROFESSION IS ABOUT SO MUCH MORE THAN THE ART ITSELF;

IT'S ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO WEAR IT.

AS SUCH, IT PROVIDES AN UNPARALLELED WAY TO FACILITATE MY PASSION, AND THE TATTOO BECOMES A VESSEL FOR THE GREATER ART AT HAND, THE ART OF UNDERSTANDING.

I CONSIDER IT A PRIVILEGE TO HEAR YOUR STORY, AND MORESO TO BECOME A PART OF IT, SO I WILL ALWAYS ASPIRE TO CREATE A WELCOMING, WARM AND MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE THAT IS AS ENJOYABLE FOR YOU AS IT IS FOR ME.

To keep myself grounded in a profession that, at times, can become consuming & competitive, I revisit the core values of my work. These are what drive me to offer a premium service that is integral & transparent, as well as being fuelled by passion and a genuine sense of intention. CONNECTION

There cannot be a shadow of doubt behind the main 'why' of my craft, which is of course the people I get to meet & work with each day. I've always been drawn to people, and in every pursuit of life, I've been motivated by the idea of helping others. Tattooing has created an unbelievable method of doing so, whereby helping people feel seen, heard, appreciated & understood is the driving force of my work. To tattoo someone is an honour, and creates a bond that (in my opinion) can't be underestimated, and if you choose to work with me, this is the value I hope you feel most.

PRESENCE

The best things in life often occur when 'you are where your feet are'; in short, when we are present. Tattooing for me acts as a form of meditation, where 'before' and 'after' don't taint the creation of your piece. This means I prioritise a slower approach; preferring to work with one client per day, for longer sessions, so that you feel valued, and I can be truly present with you. Such presence allows me to prioritise the connection and excellence that I previously mentioned, thus 'slowness' is the trade I willingly make for a unique experience.

EXCELLENCE

I often joke that perfectionism is a mandatory trait as a tattoo artist, and while this attitude largely depends on your chosen style, personal views & mindset, it truthfully exists centrally to my process. Each piece I create lasts (hopefully) with that client forever, and is also (selfishly) a reflection of myself in that moment. So, I believe it is not just my obligation, but an active choice, to always create the best work possible for each client. A wonderful thing about this art form is the capacity to ever-evolve, so as my skills naturally build, I strive to always use them to their full potential at any given time for the person in my chair; I simply cannot do anything by half measures.

BEAUTY

Beauty comes in many forms, and truly is in the eye of the beholder. And while I believe the human form is already an example of such beauty even without ink, tattoos prove a unique way to enhance that which naturally exists. They tell stories, act as a vessel for free will, and help us translate inner beauty in an external fashion. As your artist, I strive to always create work that will make you feel empowered, excited and reflective of who you really are.

TRUST

It goes without saying that this art form involves an immense amount of trust from both client & artist (far more from the former). Whether it is a first tattoo, or a fiftieth, it is never lost on me just how much I am being given in that moment, and aim never to lose sight of such a privilege. Regardless of context, I believe trust to be the foundation of all successful relationships, and in an effort to create not just physical art, but the art of memory, enjoyment and connection with each client, holding gratitude for this trust is central to my work.
